Kind Horticulture — Garden Studio
A small studio designing, planting, and keeping gardens for people who want their outdoor space to feel considered in every season — not just in June.
What we tend to
Plot & planting plan
We start with how you actually use the yard — morning coffee, kids, dinners outside — then build a planting plan around it: layout, structure, and a palette that holds up across all four seasons, not just bloom week.
Season-round care
Weekly, biweekly, or seasonal visits — pruning, weeding, feeding, and the small course-corrections that keep a garden looking kept rather than merely mowed. We track what's in the ground so nothing gets guessed at.
Cut & arranged
Seasonal, locally-cut arrangements for the table, the porch, or an event — built from what's actually in bloom nearby rather than a standing order from a wholesale cooler. Standing weekly bunches available too.
How we work
We keep a small client list on purpose. Every plan is drawn for the actual light, soil, and drainage of your plot — not a generic package — and every maintenance visit is logged, so the person who shows up in October knows what went into the ground in April.
An on-site consult to read the light, soil, and how the space gets used.
A planting and layout plan with a season-by-season view of how it fills in.
Installation, then ongoing care on a rhythm that matches your garden.

They treated our backyard like it was worth thinking about for the long term, not just for one nice-looking summer. Three years in, it's better every spring.— A Kind Horticulture client
